Vertical posts in “CORTEN®” S355J0WP steel or galvanized S355JR steel, “C” section 120x80x25 mm, 4 mm thick and 1450 mm long; driven into the ground to a depth of 775 mm and spaced 4000–6000 mm apart. A horizontal double-wave rail in “CORTEN®” S355J0WP or galvanized S355JR steel, 4318×310 mm, 2.5 mm thick, is fixed to the posts. The barrier can be upgraded by applying a specific wood cladding “kit” (solid or laminated), redefining the device into a barrier of the same certified class. The steel components are joined by high-strength round-head bolts Cl. 8.8 M16x40 (Rail–Post, with an added slot-cover plate) and M16x30 (Rail–Rail); nuts and washers.
