Our acoustic barriers and our sound-insulating and sound-absorbing panels are engineered to deliver the highest level of noise reduction, long-term durability and flexibility in use. The Configurations

Timber Configuration

The ecological solution: the perfect choice for areas of outstanding landscape value, urban furniture or contexts where minimum visual impact is required. We use only FSC and PEFC certified timber from responsibly managed forests. The natural warmth of a living material is combined with structural strength, weather resistance and architectural versatility.

Steel and Metal Configuration

The classic high-strength solution, ideal for heavy infrastructure, motorways and industrial contexts where maximum structural efficiency, slender profiles and excellent operating life are the priority.

Transparent Configuration (Glass and PMMA)

Designed to eliminate visual impact and preserve natural light and views over the landscape. Ideal for viaducts or scenic road sections, it combines the transparency of acrylic or glazed materials with high sound-insulating performance, while keeping a considered and effective design.

Technical optimisation and sustainability

The use of standardised, modular components dramatically reduces production times, optimises stock management and simplifies site logistics. This approach allows different geometries and materials to be combined — horizontal, vertical, diagonal, chequerboard, arrow or diamond slat patterns — on unified structural frames, delivering endless architectural variants without multiplying warehouse codes.

Certified Safety

All our panels comply with the UNI EN 14388 standard and are mandatorily CE marked. The initial type testing carried out in cooperation with Istituto Giordano guarantees full compliance with the construction products directive.

Autoclave-Treated Timber Durability

To ensure deep protection against fungi, insects and mould, our timber undergoes a vacuum-pressure autoclave impregnation process compliant with DIN 68800/3 and EN 351-1. We use non-toxic copper-based salts, free from chromium and arsenic, guaranteeing the panels for a minimum of 10 years against rot.

Water-Based and Anti-UV Finishes

Timber surfaces are protected by eco-friendly water-based impregnating agents with transparent iron oxides, acting as a shield and filter against degradation and photo-yellowing caused by UV rays on lignin.
ECOLOGICAL & GREEN Line

Timber barriers with a technological core and photocatalytic treatments

An acoustic protection system that not only cuts decibels, but actively fights air pollution and climate change, turning the barrier into a valuable ally of the environment.

Self-Cleaning Photocatalytic Coatings

We use special finishes formulated with a nanoscale titanium dioxide pigment acting as a catalyst. On contact with sunlight and oxygen, the surface breaks down organic pollutants and bad odours; under the action of rain the walls become self-cleaning, turning toxic smog gases into completely harmless salts (limestone, sodium nitrates and carbonates) measurable in parts per billion.

High-Density Sound-Absorbing Materials

The core of the panels — such as the exclusive WS1 model — houses a sound-absorbing mat protected by a dust-proof mesh and sealed by airtight EPDM gaskets, which block noise transmission and ensure stable performance and full resistance to heat, frost and corrosion.

Virtuous Carbon Balance

Choosing FSC and PEFC certified timber means dramatically reducing energy consumption during production compared with concrete, glass, steel and aluminium, actively contributing to forest growth and to the health of the planet.

The Key Standards of the Sector

Regulatory Framework and Reference Standards

Road traffic noise reducing devices are governed by a European regulatory framework that defines their acoustic performance, non-acoustic requirements and marking obligations, giving the designer full traceability of the declared performance.

UNI EN 14388

The harmonised product standard for road traffic noise reducing devices. It sets the requirements and conformity assessment procedures that make CE marking of the panels mandatory.

EN 1793

The series dedicated to acoustic performance: sound absorption (DLα), airborne sound insulation (DLR) and in-situ test methods. These are the parameters that qualify the real effectiveness of the barrier.

EN 1794

Defines the non-acoustic requirements: static and wind loads, safety in the event of impact, resistance to falling debris, fire behaviour and environmental impact of the device.

DIN 68800/3 · EN 351-1

Govern the impregnation and the penetration class of the preservative in structural timber, the basis of the ten-year rot guarantee on our timber panels.

CE Marking and CPR 305/2011

The Construction Products Regulation requires a Declaration of Performance (DoP) supported by initial type testing, carried out at notified laboratories such as Istituto Giordano.
