Vertical posts in “CORTEN®” S355J0WP or galvanized S355JR steel, “C” section 120x60x25 mm, 5 mm thick and 1580 mm long; driven into the ground to a depth of 791 mm and spaced 1330–2660 mm apart. Spacers — “CORTEN®” S355J0WP or galvanized S355JR steel, “C” section 120x60x25 mm, 5 mm thick — are fixed to the posts, to which the triple-wave horizontal rails in “CORTEN®” S355J0WP or galvanized S355JR steel, 4318×502 mm, 2.5 mm thick, are fixed. The horizontal band is completed with wood cladding of the rail, made of half-poles Ø160 mm and 1990 mm long, suitably shaped and autoclave-treated. The barrier can be upgraded by removing the wood cladding “kit”, redefining the device into a barrier of the same certified class. The steel components are joined by high-strength round-head and hexagonal-head bolts: Cl. 6.8 M10x30 (Spacer–Post); Cl. 8.8 M16x40 (Rail–Spacer, with an added slot-cover plate), and M16x30 (Rail–Rail); nuts and washers. The half-poles are fixed to the rail with round-head bolts Cl. 4.8 M16x80; nuts and washers.
