Sound-absorbing and sound-insulating panel for road and motorway use.
Designed to be installed in HE steel profiles with spacings of 6000 mm and variable heights.
The panel is CE certified according to EN 14388.
The panel consists of:
– Half-shell facing the noise source in expanded metal sheet of CORTEN® steel, 10/10 thick, or in galvanised and painted steel.
– The surface is profiled and has a void-to-solid ratio of 38% of the exposed area.
– Internal mineral wool mat, 50 mm thick and with a density of no less than 85 kg/m3, protected on the noise-exposed side with a black glass veil.
– Spacing element in sound-absorbing fibre material.
– Half-shell facing the receiver in CORTEN® steel, 10/10 thick, profiled and solid, or in galvanised and painted steel.
– Inside the panel, along the longitudinal side, two steel profiles 15/10 thick are inserted (upper and lower).
– The two half-shells are coupled using self-drilling galvanised steel screws, 4,2×38 mm.
– Side closures consisting of two plastic end caps, fitted with soft flaps to ensure the acoustic effectiveness of the system.
– Along the long edges of the panel, the containing structure has male/female joints for assembling the modules and stacking them.
