WK1

Sound-absorbing and sound-insulating panel in top-quality Scots pine timber (FSC certified), designed to meet technical and regulatory standards in accordance with UNI EN 350/1.
All the timber elements of the panel are made of high-quality softwood, impregnated by vacuum-pressure autoclave treatment in accordance with UNI EN 351 to guarantee durability and resistance to pests and biological decay. A walnut stain can be applied to the timber elements using non-toxic water-based paints, for a uniform colour and greater durability.
The panel is designed to be installed in HE steel profiles with spacings ≤ 4000 mm and variable heights.
The panel is CE certified according to EN 14388.
The panel consists of:
– Load-bearing frame made of horizontal and vertical elements in solid Scots pine timber, nominal section 50 mm × 100 mm;
– Rear tongue-and-groove boarding, nominal dimensions 145 mm × 20 mm;
– Air cavity, nominal thickness 40 mm;
– Mineral wool (rock wool) panels, nominal thickness 50 mm and nominal density 90 kg/m3, covered with a glass veil;
– Vertical battens in Scots pine timber, nominal section 55 mm × 20 mm;
– Horizontal battens in Scots pine timber, nominal section 80 mm × 5 mm and nominal spacing 120 mm;
– Vertical EPDM gaskets placed where the panel meets the post.
– A joining strip placed between one panel and the next guarantees their alignment and a perfect acoustic seal;
– Maximum dimensions of a single panel 4000×2500 mm. For greater heights, several panels are stacked one on top of the other;
– Weight: approx. 30 kg/m2.
