WOOD

Sound-insulating panel in top-quality timber (FSC certified), designed to meet technical and regulatory standards in accordance with UNI EN 350/1.
All the timber elements of the panel are made of high-quality softwood, impregnated by vacuum-pressure autoclave treatment in accordance with UNI EN 351 to guarantee durability and resistance to pests and biological decay. A walnut stain can be applied to the timber elements using non-toxic water-based paints, for a uniform colour and greater durability.
The panel is designed to be installed in HE steel profiles with spacings of 3000/4000 mm and variable heights.
The panel is CE certified according to the UNI EN 1793 standards for sound insulation.
The panel consists of:
– Load-bearing frame in solid timber with horizontal and vertical elements;
– The back and the front consist of tongue-and-groove boarding with a minimum thickness of 20 mm;
– The side facing the noise source is finished with timber battens, section 50×20 mm, laid vertically;
– Fixings in galvanised steel and/or 304 stainless steel used to tighten the frame (screws). Gaskets and mesh are fixed with 316 stainless steel staples. Boards and battens are fixed with 304 stainless steel nails/screws;
– EPDM gasket fixed to the vertical sides of the panel.
– A joining strip placed between one panel and the next guarantees their alignment and a perfect acoustic seal;
– Maximum dimensions of a single panel 4000×2500 mm. For greater heights, several panels are stacked one on top of the other.
